So thanksgiving 2009 has come and gone and boy do I have a lot to be thankful for. Just started a new job managed to get a few things off my chest where my family is concerned without ruining
The holiday or dinner I got to spend some tin=me with My brother his wife and their two beautiful daughters. got to see a first step saw my grandfather (on my mothers side) fully lucid and able to enjoy meeting his Great-Granddaughters (usually he is a little crazy in the bad way). I got to reconnect with my uncles aunts and cousins that I had not seen in years. I started learning about who I am and accepting the virtues that I have and the gifts that I can share with others. Also the faults that prevent me from truly connecting with those around me. (believe me I am working on those). Something that never really occurred to me before although it should have is that when you accept Christ into your heart it is a little like taking sunglasses off on a really bright day, at first your eyes hurt and you cannot see you might even get a headache but after a short time your eyes adjust and you start to see the world for what it is. the way God intended. Now I am still in the eyes hurt/getting a headache stage but my eyes are adjusting but I can tell you one thing I can see. Is that God is good and his love is sufficient. Peace and God bless
